Marks:
- 1st: 93%, 4th in cohort
- 2nd: 66% median mark
- 3rd: 96% 4th in cohort
- 4th: 82%~10th in cohort (its CSSA got a little unlucky smh)

ranking~ 50
B6s 2023: 35
B6s 2022: 24
B6s 2021: 33

What do u guys think I should do? Drop and redo or?

i think you'll probably b6. you could redo if you're the kind of person that wont be happy a low or mid b6 and wants smth higher. its not worth redoing imo and you're doing fine. just do great in hsc and you'll be fine

Unfortunately I do not have that option. Either I redo the through normal or I do the hsc. I am not allowed to redo the hsc for e1.

Also, how bad is a low b6 for someone wanting an atar in the 99 area?
for 3u not much because 3u scaling is goated, i got 90 on the dot and it pulled me up to a 99 atar albeit a low one, and your math ability is much better than mine so you'll definitely get higher than what i got trust

if your final rank is 10th and with the knowledge of the past b6s, i would say that puts you at a b6 range closer to middle-range i think at least. no need to drop and redo especially if ur doing 4u or u plan to do 4u in the future (even if u don't, a very high 2u mark will also scale well)

damn at our school they give u the choice to repeat until the hsc marks come out so some ppl join term 2 of y12
