hello!
i plan to do marketing in the future but i've been told by lots of people that its really hard to get a job in it. is this true?

Yes and no... really hard to answer either way. Obviously there aren't as many positions for marketers as there are accountants. But there is also a somewhat wide range of positions for marketers (ie: marketing communications, brand management, advertising, etc).

Really the best answer I can give you is: If you want to do Marketing, do it. If you are serious about it, you'll be fine. I suggest also having a read of Stas' guide here.
