Police are warning children to be extra vigilant about their safety after a man performed a lewd act in front of students outside a western Sydney school.
A year 12 student observed the man acting suspiciously outside a high school in Harrow Road, Cambridge Park, just after 1.30pm (AEST) on Monday, police said.
The student approached the man and kicked dirt towards him, causing him to pull up his pants and run from the scene.
The incident was reported to the school principal, who alerted police.
