Hey ppl

i just started with macq uni this semester but i really want to go on a short exchange.. it says the deadlines april 1st.. :( is it too late to apply? i havn't got any grades for them to accept me on since its on 1st semester at macq.. so .. wat you guys reckon?

contact the person running your particular short exchange, monday morning, sharp, and send the application then. although there is a high demand for them so it's likely that they might not take any more applications.

Yeah todays the last day to apply. Im not sure how lenient they are about it but it doesnt hurt to try. Where did u want to go?

Remember tho, you have plenty of time to go on short exchanges or full exchanges since you are only in first year

oh and applications are mostly based on GPA, so im not sure how that would work in your situation

the international office give up to 2 grants so it's not asking too much.

Seeing as you're doing a B Int Bus, I dont think that travelling and exchanging would be frowned upon. And as far as I know, there aren't any restrictions on what you're proposing, just a warning you may be at uni a bit longer :p

I finished my application for the denmark exchange .. can i do another application for a different short exchange nows aswell or .. would they think its abit :s ... wat u guys reckon?

I hope you have factored in financial costs of paying for tuition/air fares/living/enjoying yourself overseas as it comes out of your pocket, if it is a problem.

I got $4000 ready for a short term exchange!

I applied for the denmark exchange.. im thinking if i should apply for the colorado state uni in america now, even though it is April 2.

hmmmm..

i want to go to denmark for a short exchange next year, but that will all depend on whether i get a job once im back from Canada

Thanks! Yeah, i really want to go on a short exchange this year and hopefully go canada for a semester long exchange next year 1st semester
