would there be a chance that some universities have lower cutoffs this year??

missed my course by a bit.

None of will know. Just put it in. You'll find out when main round offers are released. It's a demand and supply issue.

Yes there is a chance there will be courses with lower cut-offs. There is also a chance there will be courses with higher cut-offs and that some of the courses cut-offs will stay the same.

It is a waiting game now.

IIRC, courses which were limited by government funding but their uni could in fact handle more students will be given more funding, hence more spots as per student demand (student preferences). Cut-offs should be less affected by demand-driven inflation.
