When you have a question like:

arg(z-1) - arg(z+2)=pi/3

And your told to find the locus, how do you find the centre of the circle? I know the general shape of the locus but can never seem to find the centre. Also is it necessary to find the centre of the circle or is the intercepts and angle sufficient?

the center lies on the perpedicular bisector of the 2 points, and the relevant angle is 2pi/3, hope thats enough information
