Let's determine our ATAR. (1 Viewer)

Hey guys... can you give me a rough estimate of my atar.

I hate the atar calculator or the matrix one... cos they're shit



Term 1 and 2 progress:

English - D for the first task (low rank.. can't remember) and B for the second (rank 13)

SOR - A for the first task (rank 2)

2 Unit - over 80% for the first task (rank 10-20 ish)

3 Unit - < 50% (2nd last in the extension class. We only have 1 ext. class)

Physics - A for the first task (rank 1)

Chemistry - A for the first task (rank 2)

Music - I don't give a crap about this... I don't care if it contributes to my ATAR or not but I didn't do quite well but compared to the class I think I am rank 5.



Half yearlies expectation:


English - B or A

SOR - high B or A

Physics - A

Chemistry - A

2 Unit - 85-90%

3 Unit - Not sure... didn't do quite well

Music - Don't care.


Say I got all band 5s and 6s and possibly 1 band 4 in a subject. What will my ATAR be close to ? Do I have a 'high chance' for over 95?

Why do you do music 1 if it's a bludge? Do you really like it for fun? Cause if you're naturally good at music, a nice rank 1 in that subject would help

I think it's hard to determine your ATAR with no school rank or total amount of people in each subject at your school.

I named this thread Our because I was hoping other people would also like to post their current progression in school.


I do music 1 because then I'll have 12 units to be on the "safe side". I don't want to get my Marks back and realise I fked up 1 subject and get a atar less than 95.

Number of people in:
Eng - About......... 80 ?
Ext 1 - 31 ?
2 Unit - Dunno... but............. possbily 60 or 70 ish
SOR - 60 ?
Music - 20 ?
Phy - 30?
Chem - 60?
