Legal Framework of Employment - The Employment Contract (1 Viewer)

Could someone please explain this section of the syllabus:

"The Employment Contract (rights and obligations of employers and employees), statutes, awards, agreements"

I've got notes on it, but with the introduction of the Fair Work Australia, I'm not a bit confused as to what has happened.

Rights and obligations of employers and employees refer to things such as duty of care, acting with skill, acting in good faith, etc.
They would expect you to know about some of the existing employment relations legislation, but with the introduction of the Fair Work Act, I highly doubt it will be tested extensively in the upcoming exam.
You will need to know the features of employment contracts such as awards, enterprise agreements, AWAs (soon to be abolished)/individual workplace agreements and common law contracts.
