whats the best way/technique to study content heavy subjects like legal and business in order to get high marks in them?

For mc just practice since the syllabus is so old there’s a lot of practice papers and sometimes the questions are repeated/similar to older questions (especially for legal)

everything else I used to just summarise and dot-point, and just spam practice papers/questions

I used to write practice essays for both subjects and submit it to the teacher for marking/feedback so do that too if u can
