SUP YALL,

Hi I looked on the UNSW class utiilites for timetable availabilities and saw that ECON1102 only has two lectures and they're both almost full. Does this mean first-year students that wanted to do that course in the first semester will miss out and have to do another course or will they open more lectures?

ECON1101 is a prerequisite for ECON1102, so first year students cannot choose ECON1102 for first semester.

Hi, I'm also curious to know the choices for first-year students since it's impossible to do all four mandatory courses in the first semester and the most viable option is to do two mandatory and two flexible.

If this is for Commerce, it is possible to do all four core courses in first semester. I would say around 80-90% of people do this.
