hey people,
does anyone use "cases of torts 3rd ed by swanton, mcdonald, anderson and yeo" for torts?

Yeah we do :)

The senior lecturer for Torts is Ross Anderson, and my "substitute tutor" is Barbara Macdonald. Its so funny having her refer to the book and knowing she wrote it...no wonder the names of the cases roll off her tongue. *argh* hard to keep up :rolleyes:

Hehe i actually quite like it, the "stories" are pretty good and short-ish :D

do you do casenotes for cases in the book?
if so do you want to swap them with me ... (it means less work!!!)

its like a summary of the case, but it just got all the relevant info that you will need to use in the exam...you dont do them?

I could give you a casenote for an irritating Canadian judgment regarding sexual battery and exclusion clauses in insurance contracts (Non-marine Underwriters, Lloyd's of London v Scalera). :p:rolleyes:

Generally I don't do entire casenotes on the judgments we study in class... more like a half-page cheat sheet instead.
