What's the language technique/s in the below?
Without an opportunity, their abilities would have been wasted and without their abilities, the opportunity would have arisen in vain
Everyone sees what you appear to be, few experience what you really are
He who is highly esteemed is not easily conspired against

"He who is highly esteemed is not easily conspired against" sounds like an adage
"Everyone" against "a few" sounds like contrast, which dichotomises external/internal perception
