1.) When applying for a transfer to another uni, do i have to inform my current uni that im applying to transfer?
2.) I will be applying through UAC for 2006 admission. They will look at my results from both semester, which is 8 subjects. Is this correct?

no, but, when you do enrol in the transferred course, you have to withdraw from your previous university by filling in a withdrawal form and getting it submitted.
