I see your point that most countries have done nasty things in the past, but there is indeed somewhat of a problem in Japanese bureaucracy about coming to terms with it. Still, that is still no excuse to phrase it as you have.]

Not to mention that this forum is populated by students of Japanese - and what about China in Tibet, eh? Any convenient excuse for that?

If I'm not mistaken, is it not commonly accepted that the incest rate is much higher in third world nations (such as China) than it is in the great powers (such as Japan)?

I find it uncomfortable to hear ppl offending both chinese and japanese, because i'm chinese studying japanese.
really what happened in teh past can't be changed, the point is that both countries are speeding up in economic growth and career in those countries can become prosperous. That is what is important.
