Where are all the 2004 Modern History students?!

This forum should be alive and buzzing to the tunes of Hitler, Stalin, the guns on the battlefields of WWI, panzers, kamakaze pilots, seppuku, Afrikaans, a million men marching etc etc etc... It's simply not!

Even the Latin forum has more traffic!

Does no one need help?

Does no one require assistance?

Does no one wish to discuss the finer points of the MH syllabus?

Hasn't anyone noticed that it's near impossible to teach yourself Modern History because the syllabus doesn't spoon feed you what to do like Economics or Legal Studies?!

LOL ive noticed hte decline as well, i guess ppl dont need help or feel the need to discuss the subject, we're doing World War 1(finishing it in 3 weeks thank God!!) its jus so frikn boring, so talking bout it wouldnt b too good eitha

Yeah, with the various 'question games' and so-on. To draw a Modern History analogy, the vast majority of the time, this board is Isolationist (Or at least many of the posters are), but becomes embroiled in events such as the HSC.

I'm really hating modern at the moment, just gone from a teacher that piles notes and notes onto you, to a teacher who tells you to make your own. I can do it, but some kids in my class are totally unmotivated and will try and scab my notes later on.
I HATE THAT.

I'm dying under this workload. This is ridiculous. VENT VENT VENT.

I'm done.

Yeah, WW1 was good to start off with but it reminds me of junior high history...like repeating itself.
