OK basically i finished my certificate 4 in building and construction (building), diploma in building and construction (building) and i still didnt get accepted to either unsw or uts (for construction), i have the oppurtunity to get an extra certificate without doing any work all i have to do is pay $492 so a semester in fees and ill get the certificte 4 in building and construction (estimating) and ill also be a mature age next year so im wondering weather it is worth it for me to get the extra certificate?
Will it be a huge improvement on my current application and how long do i have before i cant use it in my application?
Thanks for your help

You'll have to talk with the UNSW/UTS administration and see what weighting they'll put on it. Given you have a Diploma already I'm not sure if it would significantly improve your selection rank. Talk with the universities and see what they recommend - they can tell you all about the mature age entry schemes and foundation courses and all the other options you have.
