is it good to prepared an essay before hand and just keep reading it? (1 Viewer)

i have being trying to write essay for the pass week with different question from the standard English HSC paper.
the thing is it ; i notice that i've written the same exact argument for two different question.
therefore i am just wondering it is better to keep going this where i am just writing an generic essay instead of answering the question. i guessed the argument just stick to my head or something.
so it is good to continue what i am going like writing practice essay or should i just swing it for the HSC exam?

ps by swing it i mean i have note prepare but not a full essay.
