As above. This is regarding yr12. I think i might burn out if i sit down and write notes everyday :uhoh:

Also, when studying for maths during the year (not during exam time), is it best to just do questions out of the textbook?

From what I'm experiencing now, DO IT CONSISTENTLY! It is really stressful and time consuming when you could spend the amount of time writing them up for continuous revision. As for your other question, do the textbook and past papers.

For me personally, before exams. I considered note taking to be one of the best forms of study (behind past papers), because you remember more when you write then when you read. However, writing all your notes before exams is HEAPS of work.

You should right your notes consistently throughout the year. Maybe after you complete a dotpoint or topic. It's a lot better than having to make notes on a whole year's worth of work in a short period of time.

Try & do questions out of different textbooks instead of the one you use at school to get used to different types of questions.

Study moderately throughout the year. Then when exam time comes you can focus on past papers/asking teachers for help with hard questions.

Definitely all throughout the year, however, very short and concise notes just before exams are helpful to some people.
