Hi, im just wondering if its a good idea to drop chemistry. im currently doing 12 units: economics, legal studies, chemistry, english adv, maths std, hindi. the subject that im not doing that great in is chem. in the prelim course i got term 1: 81%, term 2: 73%, term 3: 38% and my teacher is not good. However, im a bit nervous about being on only 10 units to be honest. any suggestions on what i should do?

being on 10 units is fine as long as you're 100% sure your performance in chemistry is an outlier in comparison to your other subjects (bc considering your subjects now, if you do it and it doesnt even end up counting to your atar the time you spent in class is kind of just a waste).
it'll also relieve you a lot to not have to worry about chemistry anymore and have more time to do your other subjects :p

What do you want to study at university? Is chemistry a prerequisite for any of your courses? If not, then maybe drop chemistry, but also, maybe wait until you get the results from your first year 12 assessment to see where you are at before you consider dropping.
