Is Aerospace/ Aeronautical worth it? (1 Viewer)

Currently i have Aerospace at UNSW or Aeronautical at USYD as the first preference. But i am not sure it is worth it. Because it is said that there is very limited amount of work opportunities, and i am don't want to sit at home after finishing my degree.
So i was just wondering is it worth it???
Thanks in advance. I would greatly appreciate some different opinions.

There is currently a low job rate in Australia since Qantas has moved it's maintenance overseas to cheaper Asian countries but that has little to do with other jobs you can get with an aero degree. You can work for motorsport teams, car manufacturers and even look out for jobs that will rise when the Badgery's Creek airport is completed within the next 10 or so years.
