St Marys Senior High School Ranked 117 in 2007.

Aim for top 10 in your subjects.

SAM is unreliable.
SAM maybe misleading, but not unreliable. it is merely a record of past hsc results.

and it's better than any estimates anyone could give here i suppose

no its not. its within probably +-0.50 UAI points for a given year.

the only reason why its interpretation would be unreliable was if people think scaling was the same from year to year, which it is not. but it doesn't change very much. less than 2 UAI points at its worst. which is negligible.

But just for the lulz, lets run with the idea of using SAM. I know! I'll input my latest assignment marks, from an assignment worth 10% (therefore 5%). OH NO! UAI 39.85!

Great plan. OP should do.
Of course the marks you put into it are not your school assessment marks, but HSC marks.
