Yeah, just a tad confused about the relation related texts need to have in this module.

Im gathering they dont have to be about the same event, just linking in a way such as "Both depict how memory and history fuse to illuminate truths behind events" or something cheesy along those lines?

Cheers

That's right :)

You don't need to find texts on the same topic - ones that explore the same theme/concept or could be looked at through the one perspective are fine :)

Don't be freaked out if they're not exactly the same either - it's just as easy to say "in contrast" as it is to say "similarly" :)

Thanks for that. :)

Was a bit jumbled up because of a last minute conversation with a teacher about it and I kind of drifted off only to come back and hear "Ok you understand?, NEXT!"

Because one of my texts is about Jewish persecution and then the other one is about World war 2, but they both use history and memory in the same way.

Is that still okay?

Sure :)

If it sounds right in theory but you're still not very confident, then practice essays can help muchly :)
