Internal Ranks v External Ranks (1 Viewer)

Hey!

So i was wondering if i have the chance of getting a band 6 in english advanced - my school rank is pretty good its top 30 in the state, but we aren't great at english - only 20-40 people get band 6s from our cohort, but our grade in particular is expected to get around only 20 as well. My rank internally i believe is around 50, from 150. My internal marks are not great, currently at 76 but im hoping to get that up to an 80 after trials.

So, i was wondering, if after trials my rank sits around the 30 - 40 range, id be just short of the 20 band 6's we get,- if i am to do well in the HSC, however, is there a chance i can still get a band 6?

There is a chance but you will have to get probably slightly higher than a band 6 mark in the exam maybe like 92 or 93 to balance out your assessment mark
