There was a rumor going around that only one contestant could solve Q3 (the hardest problem), a Chinese contestant. Even Konstantin Matveev was defeated by Q3. Konstantin Matveev got straight 7's except for Q3 for which he got a 2, so it is entirely Q3's fault that he didn't get a 42. It is true that a Chinese contestant got a 7 for Q3 but it has recently been revealed that a Serbian has matched that, disproving the rumor. These 2 contestants are:
