Imaginative/Discursive Hybrid? (1 Viewer)

I was hoping to be able to do an imaginative in the form of a letter that goes over whatever the stimulus is in the perspective of a character writing to her parents. Would it be wise to incorporate discursive like elements or stick fully to one or the other. Assuming they let us do either one that is.

I think hybrid is definitely an interesting idea. If discursive is a bunch dialogue on stuff then I might unintentionally made a hybrid. Since you're short on time, I think you should just keep it simple and make it an imaginative. I personally find it more flexible.
