Say I got a high atar.

If I chose a course that I "HATE" do I "HAVE" to do it for 1 whole year????

For example, say I thought I was interested in economics

after a few lessons I decided this was "definately" not the course for me.

Can I transfer to another course straight away (since my atar meets requirements) or do I have to wait 1 whole friggen year?

I think you probably could change, they wouldnt make you wait a whole year, waste of time and money

No you have to wait a whole year, depending on your university's internal transfer requirements.


You can apply through the UAC or you can go the simpler option and go through the university's internal program transfer procedure.

If I basically fail every single course there, can I stil reapply thorugh UAC after 1 year?

It depends.

I know of a school acquaintance who moved between 3 different courses at two different universities in the first few weeks.

A girl i went to school with hated her course within the first month or so and unenroled before the census date and changed courses and unis for second semester.
