I accidentally withdrew from my uni course (1 Viewer)

So I am 3rd year, I decided to take a semester off to work. My marks so far have been credit-distinction.

But I didn't realize I had to apply for leave before taking off a semester, so they kicked me out of the course.

I called them up, and they told me to send in a letter, so I did. I will hear from them in roughly 5 days but right now I am scared as hell.

If I am kicked out of my degree, it would mean that I lose 2 years studying.

Has anyone else been in this situation?

If you have a good enough reason for leave or demonstrate why you really really want to be in the course they will let u hopefully

Yeah I will, currently it's the weekends.

My reason was that I was in debt and had to pay off the debt by working all semester. But I didn't know that I had to apply for leave before march 31st, before taking off a semester.

So I feel super stressed right now.
