Would it be wise to do the Excel Revise in a Month series EVERY MONTH for HSC?

The Subjects I'm doing are:
Maths
Maths Extension 1
English Advanced
Engineering Studies
IPT
Physics

What I was thinking was that I get these books in the holidays and study them throughout the year. Instead of just doing it one month before the HSC, I'll do it every month leading up to the HSC... what do you think? If this isn't a good idea, what would you recommend?

Cheers,
Shanku

yerh i was thinking of doing the same thing
but each book is like $30
and they're only a few pages
so i think i'll get em later
and get the big ones that last for all of year 12.

but yerh, those books should help aye.

lololol.

Yes, I need one of those for Mathematics Extension 1.

I think Excel guides are way over-rated and prefer using different publishers who specialise in the said subject instead.

The name "Revise in a month" already suggests that this is cramming material.

do NOT waste your money on these books. they're especially shit for legal studies, in that they lack essential information, and i've heard this is the case for other subjects as well. not to mention, they're also really expensive. they cost about as much as the macquarie revision guides do, and i'd recommend you go for the macquarie revision guides instead.

I have two and I don't recommend buying them. They tend to (as someone else has said) go off topic and cover some topics barely while others are fairly decent. Maybe borrow them from a library or something and look at them before you buy them.

Then what about Revise in a month for Mathematics and Mathematics Extension 1?

Are they alright? Please tell me whether they are good or not...

They cost $10 each through BoS and I am not sure whether I should buy them or not.

So it's not worth buying maths ones?

I don't think so. But - you're going to Borders today anyway, why not check them out there? And if you think they're good, buy them from BoS. :)

From what I've experienced with Excel/understanding Maths study guides, they really 'stupefy' (not sure if that's a word) the content, so it's good if you can't get any grasp of the content, however I don't think that would be a problem for you - so Excel wouldn't be helpful for you in my opinion.

I am not getting ones to learn. I am getting ones to do more questions. I have finished all question on fitzy, developement & extension questions on cambridge and pretty much all papers from 1990-2000 and I am just looking for light exercise and I am not sure whether excel can provide me with that. But I will take your advice considering what I have seen from that revise in a month book.
