How to test light intensity ?? (1 Viewer)

In class we have to do an experiment that tests light intensity, you know, light intensity = 1/d2

any ideas? we've tried using a ray box a torch and a projectile machine. it didnt work.

Classically intensity is just power per unit of area. So i guess you can determine the intensity of the raybox by just reading how many watts it outputs.

where r is the distance between the raybox and the point in which you are trying to measure its intensity. (so intensity is a function of distance away from teh ligght source)
