how to do a corse if u cant get into it first semester (1 Viewer)

ok well im doing b of social science and im wanting to do australian studies http://www.handbook.unsw.edu.au/undergraduate/plans/2008/AUSTA13420.html
but the two first year core couses i cant do as AUST1001 runs in semester 1 but only has a tutorial of 10 ppl so its full and AUST1003 paradise lost is run in semester 2 is there anyway of still doin this course???

I suppose if someone drops AUST1001 you can hop in and take their spot. However, i doubt that will happen. If you cant get in, do it next year.

For someone in your situation doing subjects with a very small number of students, you've got to enroll as soon as enrollments open. Just make sure you dont make the same mistake in semester 2. Your lucky that AUST1001 isnt a prerequisite for AUST1003 (i.e. you dont have to do 1001 before 1003)

Try ringing up the Faculty to ask whether u can still get in even tho its full.

It doesn't entirely matter if you don't do the course. Just try and get it next semester or next year.
