If anyone knows any simple ways or tricks to determine the difference between the calculations and output area in a spreadsheet that would be fantastic.

Output area- where results are placed. All output should be clearly labelled so the user can understand the results.

Calculation area- where calculations are carried out and the cells containing the formula are located.
