Yes they are EXTREMELY strict with the 93 atar, however you can transfer to engineering after one year of another degree, or you can apply to UNSW FEAS (serch it up since it is long to explain and the website explains more then enough on it).
The amount of scholarships they give for the womens in engineering scholarship is no limit since all you need to be eligible is to be female and be studying engineering, no marks needed. However, I heard you need to attain a certain mark throughout the degree to be continually funded with the scholarship, otherwise their wasting money on someone who isn't studying as much and is getting money just because their gender. So study hard to keep the scholarship.
