Usually 30-40 minutes but its taken me up to 50 minutes in bad weather/peak traffic. One of my friends drives to uni from Cessnock which takes over an hour... on one of the shitiest roads in NSW I must say!

1 and a half hours in the morning, anything from 2 up on the way home... due to trains running late, and only coming every half hour, and traffic on the way home. and yes, in my course i am the exception, not the rule

Its pretty usual for people at the hawkesbury campus to travel for about 2 hours - due to the one railway line.

Takes me 45 mins by car, or if I do have to go by train (not very often), then it's around an hour train ride and a 20 min walk (or a 5 min bus ride).

Not in uni atm, but high school took me 1.5 hrs each way. Prospective unis (Syd and NSW) will take me slightly longer, almost 2 hrs. After doing it for 6 yrs... doesn't feel like much at all. :)

Planning to goto Macquarie

according to trip planner it can be from 1:30-2:00

depends on the traffic for the bus and how late trains are

thats is, 2 trains and a bus

Hour and a half from Greystanes to Circular Quay, then a 10 minute walk to the Conservatorium.

10 minute drive to Blacktown Station
5 minutes parking, walking to platform etc
(+10 minutes to buy weekly once a week)
5 minute wait for train when running late
(+15 minute wait when NOT running late - ie disaster)
40 minute ride to Central
5 minute walk from Grand Concourse

Total: 1:05 on a good day, at least 1:20 on a bad day.

OR I could drive, 1:20 (traffic on M4, Parramatta Rd, City-West Link, Harris St) + $9.00 parking

one way:

10 - 15 mins no traffic
40 - 50 mins peak hour

thats if i drive (which i do)

funnily enough it would take 1.5 - 2 hours one way via public transport. i could walk it in less time (~1hr). go sydney!
