What volume of 2mol/L HCl will be needed to react completely with 8g of CuO?

Also, if anyone has any other examples that would be great thanks.

CuO + 2HCl → CuCl2 + H2O

n = m/M

n = 8/(63.6 + 16)

= 0.1

The molar ratio of CuO to HCl is 1:2.

Therefore 2 x 0.1 = 0.2 moles of HCl is needed to react completely with 0.1 moles of CuO.

The concentration of HCl is 2 mol L-1. This means 0.2/2 L is needed.

0.2/2 = 0.1

. : 0.1 L of HCl is required.
