Worry about it later.

The ordinary workload is 24 units of credit (4 x 6UoC courses) per semester.

Some courses are only offered in one semester and others have prerequisite courses but apart from these two issues yes

I'm doing info sys next year. I looked here: https://www.business.unsw.edu.au/pr...achelor-information-systems#Program-structure

In total I have to pick 16 classes. The degree is three years long. So is that about 3 classes per semester? Also...can you pick any classes to do at any time?
Attention to detail. It says at the top of the page:
The Bachelor of Information Systems is a 3 year degree program consisting of 24 courses (144 UOC).
You start with fundamentals and progress onto courses that are more specialised.

You start with Level 1 courses and move upwards. Some higher level courses may be taken before all Level 1 courses are completed. These rules are all outlined in what we call the Handbook. The progression of courses is strict, in that some courses require a 'prerequisite' before you can enrol, for example, in order to enrol into INFS2603, you need to have completed INFS1602 and INFS1603. So you won't even be able to enrol into any course at any time.

Anyway, this is so far from now that this thread will be lost when you do come to enrol.
