Evolutionary Tutors is a private tutoring agency in Sydney and Melbourne. We offer one-to-tuition to students in years K-12 in the comfort of their own home or a library nearby.
Our private tutoring service is simple, yet effective. We match students with a private tutor within 24-hours and provide tutoring with no lock-in contracts. Parents and students enjoy 24/7 support and automated payments through our learning portal.
Last year, our team of 50+ tutors helped over 300 students achieve their dream academic results. This year, we're aiming to do even better, and we're looking for passionate tutors to help us with this.
Our private tutors receive an industry-leading wage of $35 per hour with no hidden 'trainee' time. By joining us, you would have full autonomy over when and where you want to work, as well as access to state-of-the-art notes/resources to assist. We also provide a comprehensive online tutor training program that teaches tutors everything they need to know to succeed. Our tutor training is based on scientifically proven learning techniques supported by cognitive psychology. Additionally, you won't have to worry about marketing yourself to find new students, or handling payments every week - we've got you covered!
Private tutoring is a rare opportunity for you to demonstrate leadership and enter a mentoring role critical for future success in the workforce. Our tutoring lessons are tailored to the individual needs of every student. We emphasise regular verbal discussions, frequent testing through practice exams, and constant feedback to pinpoint areas for improvement. Most importantly, we focus on teaching our tutors and students the power of a "growth mindset" - if someone else can do it, then so can you. This is our mantra.
Requirements:
- Able to work at least 3-4 hours per week.
- Driver's licence (preferred, but not essential).
- Extremely reliable and committed.
- Band 6 HSC results for the subject/s you want to tutor, and/or ATAR above 90.
