Is high school physics important for electrical engineering?
Or it's partially related ? Or the course is completely new?

It is quite significant as you learn electricity in general, motors and generators etc. Most physics principles and forms of calculus evident within the HSC physics syllabus will be seen again in electrical engineering at University.
