Well then just go up to some friends who do it as Modern and get their notes, and you're done your assignments.aliasfan said:i do ancient so i can do it...
well now, you're just being difficult.aliasfan said:at our skool, the modern class hasnt done this topic...
I'm a jerk. Everyone expects me to be difficult.aliasfan said:well wat r u doing?
Why are you referring to me in third person? Noone else goes into this thread.veridis said:lol
while pwar is going a bit overboard try to take a look at her from a diff perspective than the mod course does. just wont look too good if in hist ext you reproduce what 2u people are saying in their exams even if you got all the info independantly
Ok, maybe that's so in modern, I never did it. The fact remains you could take a lot of work from a modern student- the majority of your Ext. Hist MW should be your research, a lot of which could be obtained via mod. student.veridis said:this thread or this forum?
i have to disagree with you on the journal and research being the only differences. Mod(or Anc) and Hist Ext look at very different historical issues. while a mod essay will look at an event and explain reasons for and influences of it with some mention of historians views, with very little analysis of the historians themselves a Hist Essay will only superficialy deal with the event and put almost all their effort into assessing sources and methodology and such.
anyway the point i was making is that even if the mod essay was converted into ext structure(wouldnt be too hard to do in itself) it wouldnt look good to the markers if an extension student did not go beyond that which a 2 unit student does. so while the essay may be great you'd lose a little of the wow factor and that would cost you marks. markers like and expect to be challenged by top extension essays and want to see different perspectives and conclusions
