hey i was just wondering ranking in ur class does that count towards ur uai ?

to put it simple....YES

If I remember correctly the only thing that counts for your UAI is your rank in your subject and your mark you obtain in your HSC exam...

What happens if your class is a bunch of drop-kicks? Its about your rank in the state ... I guess your class are part of that though ...
