So, my school sent me a concern letter regarding my term 1 mathematics result. It is advised that I move from mathematics to general maths.
I got less then 40% for the test...T_T
But, I don't really want to drop from math adv to general.
Any advise?

Like do you have a reason to stay in 2U? If you need it for further education and believe you just choked, and will improve stay.
However, you don't need 2U if you want a good atar.

If you don't want to drop to General the only thing you can do is study for your exams. Even if you did study, you need to find a way to study harder and smarter. Good luck

Getting 40% unless you were sick or something is a reality check
That's not going to help your atar so id drop

To hell with ATAR. It's one of the most unhelpful constructs that has distorted subject choice. You should do the subjects you need, not the subjects that maximises your ATAR. I know, the stoopid system has distorted its importance and most are forced to game the system.
