I love economics; after my first assessment task i was ranked 3rd but now after four tasks including trials i have fallen to 17 or 18. I have not been able to get past the 80% in economics.

I just need tips on how to approach the short answer and the essay responses, especially the latter which is where i have been leaking marks because i really want to do well in the externals

ALSO:

If i am ranked 17/42 in economics and my school is ranked low 20's for the last 10 years, is it possible to still get a band 6?

hmmm... I would say high Band 5. you need to be in the top 10 if you want to get a Band 6.

Don't look too much into how your school has done, and where you are placed etc etc.

Do your best, and spend the time that you would otherwise dedicate to pointless worrying studying instead of finding out useless facts such as where your school was positioned last year
