What could be an aspect of continuity and change in my PIP topic? Also, do you think this is a good/'strong' topic?:

"How do cultural values effect an individual's performance in school"

(This topic explores how cultural values, attitudes, beliefs etc. influence an individual’s confidence, performance and perceptions of own abilities in education).

I don't know what to do for continuity and change.

I think you might need to shift the focus of your PIP a little, as your current question might be a little difficult to answer. For example, cultural values may affect an individual's attitude towards education, but whether it's directly impacting the actual performance is a different matter. Also, how would you measure an individual's performance - by marks only? I think it's important to consider that there's lots of other aspects that might affect the quantitative 'performance' of students at school. You could love a subject, or love school, but not be acing your Maths exams!

Rather, I think looking at attitudes towards education might be a good path to take- how important they think education is, etc.
