hey all . i have this assignment and i need to know what is the difference between solar cells and photocells.

i have no idea... alll the info i have just says what they do and rom what i can gather a photo cell uses solar cells. does n e one know the difference between them??????

Doesn't a photo cell detect light (used in photography) and a solar or photo-voltaic cell produces electricity - both rely on the photo-electric effect.


Btw: The point of assignments is to improve your skills in researching - interpreting info etc. I might be wrong - what validity do I have none - a scientific journal on the other hand...
