Can anyone help me with the relation between acceleration and distance in this question? I can see it must be relatively simple, but I'm just not getting it...
For those of you without the paper, there is a cannon 215m long, and the "pod" fired out the end needs to be going 1.03 x 10^3 metres per second at the end of it - you need to find the acceleration needed for this to be possible.
