does anybody have any information on post modern or modern views regarding history? We have to complete an in class essay on those two subjects with reference to keith windschuttle and henry renyolds, regarding the "history Wars". any help would be greatly appreciateded!!! please!!!!

my teacher told me to try not to categorise historians and instead write what slant they take and why/their purpose and methodology which pretty much arises from approaches [context values blah blah]

As easy as it is, when you're delving into "The Philosophy of History", categorising can be dangerous.

In terms of pomo and mod views- I'll have to look at my notes again (I'm sure I could tell you much better next semester, when I study a 300 level historiography subject).
