hey guys,

I have to do a speech tomorrow and the question is: Deliver a 3 minute speech to your english teacher where you evaluate how truth and meaning are represented and conveyed in both Frontline and the attached propaganda poster...

In your response you should consider the values and purpose of the texts, as well as the intended audience.

What do they mean by the values and what do you think they will be for frontline? thanks

Hi there,
i no exactly how u feel. I would suggest that the purposes of Frontline are to entertain while providing a deeper insight into what drives your average current affairs show, and to satirise both current affairs shows, their presenters and their production teams. The 'Frontline' team dont really have any values, except getting high ratings, and i really dont know what you would say to that, but the values and purposes kinda intertwine a bit so if you talk about 1 you inadvertantly talk about the other
