Describe One advantage and One disadvantage for a business obtaining finance through the ASX

I'm assuming you mean primary market (IPO)
Advantage:
Gives business access to equity finance, thus business has no fix obligation to pay the amount back and does not have interest of funds generated.
Disadvantage:
It can be a costly process in consultation fees and legal fees.
