Hey guys i'm facing a rly tough decision on whether i should drop History extension or Chinese.
History Extension scales better and honestly takes up less time overall, and I think I could realistically get a Band 6 in it. But the thing is I’m not really passionate about the topics, and I’m worried that lack of interest might affect how much effort I put in. (like rn i don't put in alot of effort at all that's why i'm worried)
On the other hand, I do Chinese and Literature, which is pretty challenging aslwell. I’ve heard it doesn’t scale that well either. I’d need something like a 90+ HSC mark for it not to drag my ATAR down.
Would really appreciate any thoughts from people who’ve done either subject or been in a similar situation!
