While I agree that it is a crap question, it is clear what it wants, it wants you to suggest possible future uses for ethanol production techniques. The problem is that the possible future uses are not clear themselves, so in your suggesting, back them up. Maybe talk about the fermentation,(EDIT:For Example) one day we could(EDITossibly) use fermentation to generate energy directly.
