Their goes their million dollar engine. :D They probably have to pay other fines as other engines that they used from different companys has also been leaked (ie. the Havock Physics engine).

Some exploit with outlook. Seriously, i've never trusted & used outlook in my life (prolly dont know how to use it now :D), why the f*** do big companies use it?

On top of that, MS released a patch for the exploit long before source code was leaked, lol.

Have you guys got a link to this news?

And neester, you should try Day Of Defeat mod for HL, I noticed it wasn't on your list :)

Big companies normally have layers of email filtering and firewalling, so that shouldn't be a problem. And it's normally Outlook Express that's the weaker program.

Yeh i know. The Gabe Newell mentioned that aswell (about the firewalll/filters etc...). He said that nothing picked it up. If it wasnt for outlook, this probably wouldnt have happend though. But they should still have patched it up when the patch was released.

Yea that's true - a sign of some sloppy admin'ing.

PS. If anyone reading wants to see some articles, Google news has plenty.

Ahuh easily, keyloggers are so easy to make man.. and easy to retrieve passwords... ahhh i think MS should start thinking about an encrytption API, into password textboxes for windows so that system wide hooking of key events will turn out into encrypted characters or just not even sending any keylogging back to the applications.
